2009 Meritorious Websites Award – Little Prince is Depressed
十大優秀網站選舉 – 憂鬱小王子

Our creative website, Little Prince is Depressed (www.depression.edu.hk), was being selected the sixth time as one of the ten most Meritorious Websites by Television and Entertainment Licensing Authority (TELA) since 2004.  Targeting young people, the website educate what depression is via a character called a Depressed Little Prince and therein to promote mental well-being.

在影視及娛樂事務管理處舉辦的十大優秀網站選舉中,本中心的創意網站:憂鬱小王子 (www.depression.edu.hk),自2004年以來連續六次獲得提名。本網站以青少年為對象,通過一個名為憂鬱小王子的虛構角色,解釋什麼是抑鬱以及促進瀏覽人士的精神健康。

    I would like to know more case studies for commit suicides, indeed, providing more direct encouragement/solution would be another way to soften the problem. The web is suitable for those educated people. Would there be any simple messages, such as encouragement cartoons, cards, simple games, in order to make a more direct approach? Thanks

      The Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (CSRP) is working closely to provide more information with public interest at the moment.
